Traditional Use in TCM
In TCM, vinegar-prepared bupleurum is traditionally used to soothe the liver, spread constrained qi and raise clear yang — classically indicated for chest and hypochondriac fullness, irritability and menstrual discomfort from liver qi stagnation.
How Single-Herb Granules Are Used
Single-herb granules can be taken alone or combined with other single herbs into a custom formula, as TCM practitioners typically prescribe.
Who This Herb Is Traditionally NOT For
Not for yin deficiency with flushed heat, or upfloating liver yang with headaches; its lifting nature may aggravate upward-rebellion.
How to Use
Dissolve the labeled amount in about 150 ml of warm water, typically twice daily.
This product is a concentrated granule with an approximate 5:1 extraction ratio (may vary slightly between products, typically ranging from 5:1 to 10:1). Please follow the recommended dosage on the label or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
