Jin Yin Hua (Flos Lonicerae), Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Tian Hua Fen (Radix Trichosanthis), Bei Mu (Bulbus Fritillariae) — clear heat and reduce swelling

Dang Gui Wei (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Chi Shao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Ru Xiang (Olibanum), Mo Yao (Myrrha) — invigorate the blood, move the qi and relieve pain

Bai Zhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Fang Feng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Zao Jiao Ci (Spina Gleditsiae), Chuan Shan Jia (Squama Manis), Chuan Bei Mu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae) — disperse swelling and guide the formula
