黃連解毒湯出自唐代《外台秘要》，為治療三焦實火之經典方劑。
經典方劑組成
- 黃連 (Rhizoma Coptidis) 6 g, 黃芩 (Radix Scutellariae) 6 g —清熱瀉火
- 黃柏 (Cortex Phellodendri) 6 g, 梔子 (Fructus Gardeniae) 6 g —瀉火除濕
