1. Dietary and Constitutional Precautions
While taking Yangyin Qingfei Decoction, avoid spicy, hot, greasy, raw, and cold foods, such as chili, fried foods, and chilled items, as they may worsen lung heat or damage the spleen and stomach.
A light diet is recommended, with moistening foods such as pears, tremella, and lilies to help nourish lung yin. Because the formula is generally cool in nature, patients with spleen-stomach deficiency-cold, loose stools, or poor appetite should use it cautiously and only under medical guidance.
2. Special Populations and Symptom Monitoring
Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children, the elderly, and physically weak patients should consult a doctor before using Yangyin Qingfei Decoction, as dosage and usage may need individual adjustment.
During treatment, the prescription should be adjusted according to symptom changes; if symptoms worsen or new symptoms appear, seek medical advice promptly and do not increase, reduce, or continue the medication blindly.
