Therapeutic Principle
Traditionally selected for Yin-Yang disharmony with insomnia, seminal loss or sweating from insecurity of essence — a harmonising and astringing formula rather than a pure heat-clearing or pure Yang-tonifying one.

Gui Zhi Jia Long Gu Mu Li Tang harmonises and secures for deficiency with floating Yang. Chai Hu Jia Long Gu Mu Li Tang addresses constrained heat with restlessness more strongly. Suan Zao Ren Tang nourishes Blood and calms the spirit for deficiency irritability. Jin Gui Shen Qi Wan warms and tonifies Kidney Yang for deeper Yang deficiency.
